Frequently asked questions
How do I cancel my subscription?
LiftEats Pro is billed by Apple, so cancellation happens in your Apple Account settings rather than inside the app. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, select LiftEats, and choose Cancel Subscription.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not end your access immediately: LiftEats Pro stays active until the end of the trial or paid period you have already been charged for, and your logged data remains in your account after the subscription lapses.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open the LiftEats paywall and tap Restore Subscription. LiftEats checks your Apple Account for an existing LiftEats Pro purchase and reactivates the entitlement.
Restoring only works with the same Apple Account that originally bought the subscription. If you signed in with a different Apple Account, switch back to the purchasing account in Settings and try again. Access can take a short time to synchronize between Apple, RevenueCat, and the LiftEats backend.
What's included in LiftEats Pro?
LiftEats Pro is available as a monthly plan at $5.99 and a yearly plan at $49.99. Both plans include 500 AI scans per month. The yearly plan does not receive its scans upfront; it receives the same 500-scan allowance in monthly cycles across the year.
A scan is a photo log, a text log, or a re-interpretation of an existing entry. Failed analyses do not count, logging a saved meal without AI does not count, and unused scans do not roll over.
Eligible new subscribers may receive a 3-day free trial. Apple determines trial eligibility based on your Apple Account and its purchase history in the LiftEats subscription group, so not every user will be offered one.
How do I delete my account?
In the LiftEats app, open your profile, choose Delete Account, and confirm. The deletion flow removes your LiftEats sign-in, your profile, your saved meals, your logged meal and workout history, your meal images, and your usage-quota records.
Deletion is permanent. Logged data cannot be recovered afterward, so export or note anything you want to keep first. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription, so cancel that separately if you have an active plan.
Why was my meal estimate off?
Meal and workout numbers are AI-generated estimates, not measurements. A photo or short description cannot always identify portion size, preparation method, or hidden ingredients, so LiftEats shows the assumptions it made and a confidence level with each analysis.
You can correct any entry: open it and edit the calories and macros manually, or re-run the analysis with more detail in the description. Manual edits are saved with the entry and used for your daily and weekly totals.
AI results are estimates and are not medical, nutritional, or fitness advice.
