LiftEats Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of LiftEats. By creating an account or using LiftEats, you agree to them. LiftEats is intended for users aged 13 and older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the app with parent or guardian involvement where required by law.

LiftEats is operated by Ahmad Ali Tariq in Pakistan. These terms supplement Apple's Standard End User License Agreement where it applies to your use of the iOS app.

LiftEats is a personal nutrition and fitness logging tool. It lets you record meals and workouts using text or meal images, receive AI-generated estimates and goal-fit information, save meals, view daily and weekly progress, and choose local reminders.

LiftEats is not a medical device, healthcare provider, registered dietitian, personal trainer, diagnostic service, or provider of medical, nutritional, exercise, or professional advice.

AI-generated nutrition, meal, and exercise information may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a particular person. Food cannot always be identified accurately from a photo or short description, and calorie, macro, activity, duration, intensity, and calorie-burn estimates are approximate.

You are responsible for reviewing information before relying on it, especially for allergies, medical conditions, eating disorders, pregnancy, medications, or specialized diets. Consult qualified healthcare, nutrition, or fitness professionals when appropriate.

LiftEats does not guarantee weight loss, muscle gain, improved health, athletic performance, or any particular outcome.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the information you submit. You must not upload content you do not have the right to use or content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes another person's rights.

You retain your rights in the content you submit. You grant us the limited permission needed to host, process, analyze, display, and transmit it to service providers solely to operate and improve the LiftEats service.

LiftEats Pro may be available through auto-renewable subscriptions. Apple displays the applicable price, currency, taxes, and offer before you purchase. Prices and availability can vary by storefront and may change.

Eligible new subscribers may receive an Apple-managed three-day introductory trial. Apple determines eligibility based on the Apple account and subscription-group purchase history. Creating a new LiftEats or Firebase account does not create new trial eligibility, and not every user will receive a trial.

Payment is charged to your Apple account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through Apple's subscription-management tools. Cancelling generally leaves access active until the end of the current trial or paid period. Deleting LiftEats or your LiftEats account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Restore Purchases uses Apple and RevenueCat purchase information. Refund requests and billing disputes are generally handled under Apple's policies. Subscription access may take a short time to synchronize between Apple, RevenueCat, and LiftEats' backend.

LiftEats uses one combined AI-analysis allowance for text and image requests. Eligible introductory trials include up to 50 successful AI analyses for the full trial period. This is not a daily allowance and does not reset during the same trial.

Active paid Pro subscribers receive up to 500 successful AI analyses per monthly usage cycle. This applies to both monthly and yearly subscriptions. A yearly subscription does not receive 6,000 analyses upfront or annually; it receives the same 500-analysis allowance in monthly cycles anchored to the annual subscription period.

A successful typed-text analysis, photo analysis, Retry, or Reinterpret with AI consumes one analysis. Failed AI analyses do not count. Logging a saved meal without AI does not count. Unused analyses do not roll over. Reaching the allowance prevents additional AI analyses until the next applicable cycle, while non-AI features may remain available.

You may not use LiftEats through automated or scripted means, attempt to bypass subscription or usage controls, share accounts or subscriptions in violation of applicable terms, interfere with the service, reverse engineer it except where law permits, or use it for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or service-disrupting purposes.

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, service providers, or legal rights.

You can initiate account deletion in the app. The deletion flow removes the Firebase Authentication account, the user Firestore data subtree, user meal images in Firebase Storage, and usage-quota records. It does not cancel your Apple subscription.

Some information may remain with Apple, RevenueCat, backups, security systems, or operational records where needed for billing, fraud prevention, entitlement reconciliation, legal obligations, or provider operations. Read the Privacy Policy for further detail.

LiftEats depends on network access and third-party services. Features, including AI analysis, may be unavailable, delayed, changed, paused, or removed. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability.

We may update these terms as LiftEats evolves. The latest version will be available at this URL. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means you accept the updated terms to the extent permitted by law.

LiftEats is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties that are not expressly provided in these terms, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ahmad Ali Tariq is not liable for decisions, injury, loss, or damage resulting from reliance on AI outputs, nutrition or exercise estimates, inaccurate entries, service outages, data loss, subscription synchronization issues, or third-party services. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Pakistan, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your place of residence provides otherwise.
